Originaly, we made it with solid knotty pine and birch dowels. And reinforced the play stand with metal-to-metal connectors for long-lasting durability and safety. Now, we offer the same exceptional design made of Baltic birch plywood for a more contemporary feel.

The Waldorf Play Stand measures 37 1/4"L x 13 1/2"W x 35 3/4"H and weighs approximately 19-20lbs. Please note that on unfinished or natural orders, you may see small blueish streaks in the knotty pine, also known as “blue stain.” But don’t worry - when ordered in honey oak, espresso, or painted finishes, these streaks won’t be noticeable.

Assembly is required, but with our easy-to-follow instructions, you’ll have your play stand set up in no time. Plus, all of our finishes are water-based paints and stains, making our furniture non-toxic and safe for your little ones. Please note that there may be a slight odor when first unpacked, but it will dissipate quickly with warmer temperatures and air movement.

• Knotty pine or birch plywood construction throughout, with birch wood dowels
• On unfinished or natural orders you may see small blueish streaks in the knotty pine which is called "blue stain". Streaks are small and light enough that when ordered in honey oak, espresso or painted they wont be noticeable.

• CARB 2 compliant birch plywood construction when ordered in Natural or Unfinished birch.
• All finishes are water-based paints and stains so that our furniture is non-toxic and safe for children. There may be an odor when first unpacked but will dissipate more rapidly with warmer temperatures and air movement.
